How to Change Your Tire in 5 Simple Steps
1. FLIP YOUR BIKE

Thinking to put the bike on its back may come naturally for the cycling enthusiast, but it may seem a novel idea for those who have changed their bike tires infrequently.
It's not hard to do, just be sure you get it to balance, and if it helps, wedge it against a nearby wall.
Additionally, let's assume you're already on the fantastic voyage when you lamentably need to change your deflating tube (and you were clever enough to carry your x2 tubes, air pump, and tire levers/multi-tool in an attached bike bag), well then, it'd behoove you to remove these from their bag before flipping the bike to avoid damaging the frame from fallen tools.
2. REMOVE WHEEL
Save your fingers! Use a nifty and useful bike lever instead (or other prying tool) to assist in removing the tire from the rim - but, by using the regular end not the sharp, pointy end to avoid puncturing the inner tube.
Insert the lever inside the tire rim and use the lever to slide the edge away from the wheel rim all the way around. See? That was easy.
If it so happens you're attempting to remove the rear tire, you'll have to face the greasy matter of the chain and gears so before working back there shift into the highest gear (that's the smallest cog on the back) before you turn your bike over.
3. REMOVE TIRE AND TUBE

4. INSERT NEW TUBE
Put the new tube into the tire in a way that the valve matches the valve hole in the rim, and afterwards install the valve in the hold and place the nut to hold it in place.
Be sure to remove any twists from the tube and line it up properly againt the inner tire.
TIP: It may be helpful to inflate the tire just a little to easily take out any twists in the tube.
5. PLACE ON RIM & PUMP!
Use your hands to pack the loose side of the tire back into the rim. Use the tire lever against the rim edge and tire to slide the remaining tire onto the rim.
Connect your pump to the valve and then pump to the recommended psi labeled on the side of the tire.
Now you're ready to head out on the adventure trails again! Thanks for reading!
